The Madriella Fertility Doula Certification is an advanced training program designed for certified Birth and Postpartum Doulas who wish to expand their knowledge and provide compassionate, evidence-informed support to individuals and families experiencing fertility challenges.
Infertility affects millions of people worldwide, and the emotional, physical, and financial demands of the fertility journey can be overwhelming. While medical professionals focus on diagnosis and treatment, Fertility Doulas provide the continuous emotional support, education, advocacy, and practical guidance that clients often need throughout this deeply personal experience.
This comprehensive certification explores the reproductive system, common causes of infertility, fertility awareness and cycle tracking, assisted reproductive technologies such as IUI and IVF, egg freezing, surrogacy, nutrition, stress management, emotional resilience, pregnancy loss, communication strategies, and holistic approaches to fertility support. Students will also learn how to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, establish professional boundaries, and build a successful Fertility Doula practice.
Throughout the course, students will examine real-world case studies, review current research, complete knowledge assessments, and develop the confidence to support clients through every stage of the fertility journey while remaining within the Doula’s non-medical scope of practice.
This is an 18-hour certification program developed specifically for practicing Doulas and reflects Madriella’s commitment to evidence-based education, compassionate care, and professional excellence.
